PurpleCow Startup Association PurpleCow Startup Association is a non-profit organization initiated by Cheetah Mobile (NYSE: CMCM), Leopard Mobile and its members include individuals and enterprises that are passionate about the mobile Internet industry in Taiwan, such as AppWorks, T-Star Telecom, Phison etc. Mr. Pan KS Pan from Phison serves as the Honorary President of PurpleCow Startup Association and Ms. Wei Wei Chiang, vice president of Leopard Mobile is the vice chairwoman of the association. “The Purple Cow (i.e. Techmaker)” represents the spirit of being exceptionally outstanding. Based upon this, the Association aims to promote industrial reform and breath new life into the entrepreneurial environment in Taiwan. By taking full advantage of members’ abundant experience in the mobile Internet industry, the Association is actively holding events such as cross-industry dialogues, startup workshops, VC-talents mingles and team pitch tutorials etc., in hopes of integrating industry resources, facilitating the advancement of the mobile Internet industry and encouraging more professionals in Taiwan to bring their talents to the world.
